In short
DORA TMS100 is a work tool used by drivers at transport companies that are customers of DORA Nordic ApS. What the app records is the employer's data about how the work was carried out. We do not sell it, and it is not used for advertising or profiling.
Who is the data controller
Your employer — the transport company you drive for — is the data controller. DORA Nordic ApS is a data processor and acts only on the employer's instructions under a data processing agreement. Questions about your data should therefore go to your employer first.

Background location
The app may record location while running in the background so that arrival and departure at a stop can be registered automatically without you handling the phone while driving. Collection happens only while you are signed in and a route is in progress, and it stops when the route ends or you sign out. You can revoke the permission in your device settings at any time; arrival and departure then have to be registered manually.
Who we share it with
With your employer (dispatch, office and management), and to the extent necessary for the job with the employer's customers — for example a delivery receipt for the recipient. We use sub-processors for operations (hosting at Amazon Web Services in the EU, map lookups, and push notification delivery via Apple and Google). No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA without a valid transfer basis.
Retention
Records of completed routes are kept for as long as the employer needs them for documentation, settlement and statutory retention — typically five years after the end of the financial year for accounting-relevant material. Location data for a route is kept for a shorter period. The exact retention period is set by your employer.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification and erasure, to restriction of processing and to object. Contact your employer, who is the data controller. You may also write to privacy@dora-apps.com and we will pass the request on. You may lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark.
Accounts and deletion
You cannot create an account in the app. Accounts are created by your employer, and the employer also closes them — for example when employment ends. If you want your account deleted, ask your employer, or write to privacy@dora-apps.com and we will help the employer carry it out.
Security
Access requires a company code, driver number and PIN, and the app can be locked with Face ID or Touch ID. All communication is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to the data is limited to those at the employer and at DORA who need it.
